GECAS terminates lease of six aircraft to SkyEurope Airlines
SkyEurope announces that GECAS has terminated the leases for six aircraft leased by SkyEurope Airlines as of 08-Jan-09 and that the aircraft have been returned to GECAS. The aircraft capacity has been replaced and SkyEurope continues to operate all scheduled flights.

 

Further, SkyEurope and Longstock SAPO Limited, a limited liability company with its registered offices in Gibraltar, agreed on the extension of the deadline for the first installment in relation to
the EUR 10m bridge loan facility dated 11-Dec-08 to SkyEurope Airlines a.s., the 100% subsidiary of SkyEurope Holding AG.

Meanwhile, SkyEurope is also pleased to report that E-Clear UK PLC has agreed to continue releasing funds from credit card sales to SkyEurope Airlines based on flown revenues, to provide on-going liquidity. According to SkyEurope’s records, approximately EUR10 million of flown revenues are held by E-Clear UK PLC.
