Air Berlin is expanding its limousine service in Thailand As a result Air Berlin passengers travelling Business Class to Chiang Mai also have the option of using the airline's complimentary limousine service there from the end of March. This service has already been available since last summer for those travelling to Bangkok. The passengers are met in the arrivals hall of Chiang Mai airport and then driven by limousine to the city centre or the surrounding area. The limousine is again provided for the journey home.
In addition there is a new, more convenient through-flight from Germany to Chiang Mai via Bangkok. The service from Bangkok to Chiang Mai has been offered as a codeshare flight for some time, but now the direct link to Air Berlin’s long-haul flight provides passengers to Chiang Mai with an even better connection.
In winter 2009/10 Air Berlin is operating four non-stop services a week from Düsseldorf, three non-stop services a week from Berlin-Tegel and two non-stop services a week from Munich to Bangkok. Feeder flights are available from Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hanover, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Cologne, Münster-Osnabrück, Nuremberg, Vienna and Zurich.
