Southwest Airlines launches service to St. Louis
On May 9, Southwest Airlines launched service between Raleigh-Durham International Airport and Lambert-St. Louis International Airport. The airline will offer one daily departure from RDU to St. Louis.

Southwest also added one daily departure each to Chicago's Midway International Airport and Baltimore/Washington International Airport.

Southwest currently offers 31 daily flights from RDU to 11 destinations. In addition to St. Louis, Chicago and Baltimore, the airline also offers service from RDU to Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tampa-St. Petersburg.
