Jetstar Asia introduces KFC payment option in Ho Chi Minh City
(CAPA) Jetstar Asia has partnered with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) in Ho Chi Minh City, enabling customers to pay for Jetstar Asia tickets to Singapore at KFC outlets in Ho Chi Minh City. This new service follows Jetstar Asia's other highly successful offline payment options in Singapore (7 Eleven and SingPost) and the Philippines (GCash).

Bookings need to be made online or via the Jetstar Asia Call Centre, with cash payments required within two days of booking. At this point, customers will receive a payment acknowledgement slip, and e-tickets will be received within three working days after this. This service is only available for Ho Chi Minh City-Singapore services.

"Jetstar Asia listens to our customers and recognizes their desire for offline payment solutions. Travel is now all the more fast, direct and enjoyable through our collaboration with KFC. By having a meal and paying for our flight at the same location, Jetstar customers get to experience yet another value added benefit of our airline. We will continue to work on offline payment solutions in other markets," said Ms Chong Phit Lian, CEO of Jetstar Asia/Valuair.

Mr Pornchai Thuratum, General Director of KFC Vietnam, welcomes this innovative service at all KFC outlets. "KFC operates more than 30 outlets in Ho Chi Minh City. Our collaboration with Jetstar Asia enables us to bring accessibility of travel to our customers and promote bilateral relations between Vietnam and Singapore at the same time."
