Jetstar Asia to launch daily service to Macau
(c) Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation: Jetstar Asia announced plans to commence daily Singapore-Macau service from 02-Feb-08.

 

Ms Chong Phit Lian, Jetstar Asia/Valuair's CEO said: "Jetstar Asia's launch of daily flights to Macau serves as a direct air link catering to the growing number of visitors from Singapore to Macau. Our expansion into new destinations and the increasing of capacity to existing destinations indicates a clear sign of growth."

Ms Chong added: "Jetstar Asia is committed to growing its Pan Asia Network with Changi Airport Terminal One's excellent facilities as our hub. As we move into 2008, there will be more exciting developments in this area, including our interests and readiness to operate to Kuala Lumpur and other Malaysian cities once the rights are available.”  

Eng João Manuel Costa Antunes, Director of the Macau Government Tourist Office said: "The new Jetstar route will further attract visitors from Singapore to Macau, diversify Macau's source market portfolio and strengthen connectivity between Singapore and Macau. This will result in more regional business and tourism development."
