Air Asia X Increases flight frequency

MALAYSIA : AirAsia X has announced (22-Apr-09) that commencing 1-Jul-09, it will increase the frequency of its flights between London, Stansted and Kuala Lumpur to a daily service.

AirAsia X officially announced (25-Nov-08) GBP99 flights from London to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Booking opened on 25-Nov-08 for the five times weekly direct flights which begin in Mar-09 between London Stansted and Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Low Cost Carrier Terminal.

AirAsia X arrives at Melbourne Airport

AirAsia X’s inaugural flight from Kuala Lumpur to Victoria touched down at Melbourne Airport on time at 11.40am launching a new era of international air travel between Victoria and Malaysia. The carrier touched down on Melbourne Airport’s tarmac using the airline’s airbus A330-300.

AirAsia X takes delivery of first A330

AirAsia X has taken delivery of its first new A330-300. The aircraft was handed over at a special ceremony at Airbus headquarters in Toulouse in the presence of the Malaysian Minister of Transport, Dato’ Ong Tee Keat.

AirAsia X launches Kuala Lumpur - Perth services

The inaugural AirAsia X flight between Kuala Lumpur and Perth touched down on Western Australian on 02-Noc-08. The carrier will also commence services between Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne on 12-Nov-08.

Menzies Aviation wins AirAsia X contract

Menzies Aviation announced the contract gain of AirAsia X at Perth and Melbourne. The contract includes six flights per week in Perth for cargo handling services and seven flights per week in Melbourne for cargo, passenger and ramp handling services.
